ATHLETICA recently welcomed an iconic figure in American football: Jack Del Rio, the new head coach of the Paris Musketeers.

 

With an impressive NFL career, Del Rio brings his expertise and vision of the game to the team, marking a key milestone in the development of American football in France. A former linebacker with 11 seasons at the highest level, he went on to enjoy a brilliant coaching career, notably with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders as head coach. He also played a major role in the success of the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens as defensive coordinator. His experience and leadership are valuable assets for the Musketeers, who continue their rise in the European League of Football (ELF).

His arrival at our facilities demonstrates the club's ambition and commitment to establishing itself at the highest level. The new Paris Musketeers coach began by answering numerous questions from journalists at a press conference organized for the occasion. Then, Jack Del Rio, accompanied by his son Luke Del Rio and Frantzy Dorlean, the club's president, was able to discover the excellence of our training center, a place designed to offer athletes an optimal environment for performance and progress. The presence of Luke, a former college quarterback who is now involved in coaching, enriched the discussions with the team, providing an additional perspective on player development. With the arrival of Jack Del Rio, the Paris Musketeers are writing a promising new chapter in their history. American football in France is booming, and the presence of a coach of such caliber only reinforces this momentum.
