A look back at our “Tout Shuss” meal : A gourmet getaway to the heart of the Alps

 

On February 11th, our guests swapped their skis for a warm and friendly moment, celebrating the rich flavors of the mountains. Inspired by snow-covered peaks, “Tout Shuss” offered a comforting culinary journey!

 

Our chefs, true artisans of taste, reimagined classic Savoyard cuisine with authentic craftsmanship and a touch of generosity. Here’s a closer look at a menu that warmed both hearts and appetites.

 

Starters to Enjoy by the Fire

Savoyard Salad, a delicious balance of crisp mixed greens and the indulgence of mountain cheese, complemented by grilled bacon and golden croutons—a perfect harmony of crunch and creaminess.

French onion soup, a comforting classic where the sweetness of caramelized onions meets a golden, cheesy gratin. Each spoonful is a warm embrace, reminiscent of cozy chalet evenings.

Charcuterie board, a generous selection of local delicacies—smoked ham, artisanal sausage, and delicately cured coppa. An invitation to share and savor the authentic flavors of the mountains.

 

Iconic Dishes, straight from the mountain refuge

Tartiflette, the star of Alpine cuisine, won over comfort-food lovers. Creamy potatoes melted reblochon cheese, and smoky bacon, all baked to golden perfection and served with a fresh mixed salad. A true delight for those craving a rich and satisfying dish.

Crozets with Beaufort cheese, small square-shaped pasta from the region, coated in a velvety cream sauce and elevated by the bold, nutty flavor of Beaufort cheese. Paired with a crisp salad, it’s the perfect blend of tradition and refinement.

 

A sweet Alpine finale

Blueberry tart, featuring a crisp pastry crust, a light cream filling, and the tangy sweetness of juicy blueberries. A fresh and indulgent dessert to elegantly conclude the meal.

Gâteau de Savoie, light, airy, and delicately flavored—a true cloud in every bite. This nostalgic treat evokes the warmth of mountain teatime, offering a sweet and tender ending to the experience.
